Born Tough Arm Blaster Product Review

Arm Blaster

Today I’m reviewing the Born Tough Arm Blaster!

When I first saw the arm blaster I was intrigued but was slightly hesitant that it would work with my Bulgarian Bags. Good news – 100% works with the Bulgarian Bag. No issues whatsoever. So for all the bag fans out there, yes, it’ll work if you’re looking for a specialty item to help isolate on your curls.

With that out the way, let’s get into the details of the company & the product itself from shipping to quality.

Shipping –

Arm Blaster

Item arrived in a large box with the Elite Sports convertible backpack I’m reviewing as well. It was extremely well packaged to prevent any sort of scratching or denting in shipping.

I give them a 10 out of 10 on the shipping and handling front.

Product Quality

I’m in love with the design and quality. The company story printed on the product looks really cool. The padding for the arms on the left and right side felt comfortable without being “too padded.” The padding for the back of the neck was the same, comfortable but not overly padded.

My only issue was with the buckle strap to adjust the length. I ended up having to pull harder than I thought I should’ve to unlock the buckle. It’s a flip switch and flipping it up took just a bit more force than I thought I would need to use.

On the plus side I was able to use a good amount of force to flip it up and the buckle wasn’t damaged (so the buckle is high quality as well.) If I was going to be using this with a variety of clients of different shapes and sizes I might worry more about the buckle, but once it’s adjusted for a single person you don’t really need to worry about it.

For a home / garage gym owner this would be a great addition to their collection that I could easily rate a 9 or 10 out of 10 on quality.

For more of a commercial use (multiple users of different heights that requires adjusting multiple times per day) I’d be more inclined to rate a 7 or 8 out of 10 on the buckle. I do worry constant adjusting may be a potential failure point, but to be fair messing with a buckle 4x a day on any product will lead to quicker failure, so take that with a grain of salt.

I may update my position on the buckle for commercial use in the future, but for now this’ll be a piece of equipment that belongs only to me.
